Need
To produce a marketing campaign that will attract more students to the University Vision practice on the University campus, the main drive will be to promote the Opticians over the fresher's week period.
Solution
Creation of a promotional campaign 'Eye Luv'. What do students do? Drink, party and all the other things that go along with it!
We based our idea around students moving up to the great north! Some southerners may take some time to get the hang of the northern dialect so we decided it would be a great idea to introduce them to Emily and Paul, a Leeds couple who are newly in love!
The story begins with them 'Off t' club' and as they both use University Vision lenses they will be 'Seeing' each other.
Several other posters in the story were also created to create intrigue and interest in the story and the brand.
Together with University Vision we created various marketing materials for fresher's week and competition for students to win an LCD TV. This would provide valuable contact details for new students we can market to.
Result
The creation of a detailed database of students. This would enable us to target specific types of students with University Vision products.
Introduction of a side of the University Vision brand that students can identify with. The main point of this promotion is that we can continue to build on the idea and use it for promotions in the future.
